Project Planner
Location: Hybrid, travel to Bristol / Corsham
Clearance: Active SC Clearance required
Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 + package (depending on experience)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SC Cleared Project Planner to support the successful delivery of complex programmes across Defence clients.
You will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and assuring integrated project schedules, working closely with delivery teams, PMOs, and senior stakeholders to ensure programmes are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
This role sits at the heart of programme delivery, providing critical insight, governance, and control across high-profile, secure environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain integrated project plans and schedules across multiple workstreams
* Work with Project Managers and PMOs to ensure accurate forecasting, dependencies, and critical paths are identified
* Apply earned value management (EVM) and other planning methodologies to track performance
* Conduct schedule risk analysis and scenario planning
* Identify and manage programme risks, issues, and interdependencies
* Produce clear and concise reporting for senior stakeholders
* Ensure alignment with MOD and government delivery frameworks
* Support governance activities including milestones, reviews, and assurance gates
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, commercial, and delivery
Required Experience
* Active SC Clearance (essential)
* Proven experience as a Project Planner / Project Controls professional within Defence, Government, or highly regulated environments
* Strong experience using planning tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent
* Solid understanding of project lifecycle, governance, and delivery frameworks
* Experience in risk management, scheduling, and performance reporting
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across complex programmes
