We are working with a number of welcoming and forward-thinking secondary schools in Wellingborough seeking enthusiastic Science Teachers to join their teams from April or September 2026. These opportunities are available on both a long-term and permanent basis, depending on your preference and experience.
The Role:
Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your specialism
Encourage curiosity through practical experiments, investigative work, and real-world applications of Science
Differentiate teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs using inclusive and evidence-based strategies
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessment, and enrichment activitiesIdeal Candidate Profile:
Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, or the ability to teach across the Science curriculum
Confident in classroom management and able to engage students of all abilities
Passionate about teaching and committed to continuous professional development
A proactive team player who contributes positively to the wider school communityApplications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs), with full induction and mentoring available.
