The Infrastructure Engineer role at Connex One is not just about deploying and supporting the company's SaaS platform. It's about making a global impact. As part of the Infrastructure team, you'll be instrumental in building, installing, and maintaining client systems within the company's cloud Infrastructure. This role involves close collaboration with DevOps teams to enhance the build process and troubleshoot network issues for VoIP/web-based systems. You'll also manage various services within the AWS estate worldwide and play a key role in improving existing Infrastructure processes.

Your Responsibilities:
1. Implementing and configuring Connex One's suite of products within client infrastructures.
2. Providing technical training and support guidance to clients.
3. Assisting with project scoping, client onboarding, and documentation.
4. Configure AWS Servers
5. Work with the latest Cloud technologies
6. Selecting appropriate AWS instance types based on workload requirements
7. Configuring networking settings, including VPC (Virtual Private Cloud), subnets, route tables, and security groups
8. Setting up security measures such as IAM (Identity and Access Management), encryption, and network ACLs (Access Control Lists)
9. Installing and configuring software packages and dependencies on AWS servers
10. Optimising server performance by tuning configurations, scaling resources, and implementing load balancing
11. Automating server provisioning and configuration using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
12. Collaborating with DevOps teams to integrate server management processes into CI/CD pipelines
13. Providing technical training and support guidance to clients.
