About the Role
We are seeking an inspiring and committed KS2 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Blackburn from January. This is a full-time role teaching within Key Stage 2, with the opportunity to contribute to the wider school community and make a significant impact on pupils’ learning.
The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons and a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum. You will work as part of a supportive team dedicated to ensuring all children achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
* Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
* Track, monitor and report on pupil progress effectively
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and senior leaders
* Maintain strong behaviour management and uphold school expectations
* Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers
* Participate in staff meetings, CPD opportunities and wider school activities

Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
* Ability to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities
* Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
