Hays are partnering with a regional law firm to support the recruitment for a new permanent IT Training Manager. The salary is up to £60k and hybrid working ideally from Bath, but other office locations would be considered e.g. Bristol, Swindon, Oxford & London.
Your new role & what you'll need to succeed
In the role you'll manage three IT trainers and work with the leadership team and wider stakeholders / users to support a wider project to review and refresh the current training materials and methods. You'll develop and modernise current practice whilst also leading on day to day coordination and management. You'll have a lot of autonomy and ownership of the IT training function and the direction of IT training improvement. To be considered for the role you'll need to be an experienced IT training manager ideally with legal sector experience. Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite and bespoke legal applications would be beneficial. You'll need to be confident in managing & supporting a small team of IT trainers and also working with wider senior stakeholders across the organisation. You'll need experience designing and implementing training strategy and have good knowledge of IT training best practice.
