If you are an experienced and professional Health Care Worker with afternoons and early evenings free, we would love to hear from you.
We have a lovely home based in Alfreton who care for a range of elderly residents, each battling with age-related conditions. They are in need of Care Workers who are confident in their abilities to assist them in their afternoon routine.
Your responsibilities will include providing personal care to both male and female residents, assisting with mobility using equipment such as hoists, slings, and rotundas, and repositioning residents in line with their care plans. You’ll also respond to call buzzers promptly and carry out domestic duties as needed.
Qualifications
* A minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience
* A referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
* Up to date mandatory training
If you do not have up to date training, we will be able to support you in acquiring this.
DBS
We can accept a DBS certificate dated within the last 12 months or a DBS that is registered on the update service.
If you do not have either of these, we can support you in acquiring a new DBS.
Please note that we do not offer sponsorships.
This role is continuous week by week allowing you to switch the days you work to fit your schedule.
We have flexible full and part time hours allowing you to choose when you want to work. All shifts will be between 14:00 to 22:00 planning across the whole week.
The pay will be £12.71 per hour; this will rise to £13.33 after 12 weeks of continuous work.
