About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide classroom support to pupils aged 11–16, including those with Additional Learning Needs.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Work with small groups and individuals to promote learning and personal development.
Support pupils with varying needs, including learning difficulties, social and emotional challenges, and behavioural needs.
Help maintain a positive and safe learning environment, ensuring safeguarding is prioritised.
Contribute to both academic and personal growth of pupils through tailored support.
Requirements
Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly within education or care settings (desirable).
An understanding of Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and strategies to support learners.
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.
Flexibility to adapt to different school environments.
A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities in education.
Full-time availability is preferred, but part-time work is also available.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
