Job Overview
Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, with flexibility to work elsewhere. You will spend 40–60% of your week at a National Trust location. This will be discussed further during the interview.
The role involves leading a delivery team and ensuring digital products run smoothly and deliver excellent experiences for millions of supporters. You will manage complex changes, coordinate resources, oversee budgets, apply governance frameworks, and manage risks.
This is a fixed‑term contract that will end when the employee returns from secondment, likely no longer than 12 months.
Responsibilities
* Lead a delivery team to align work with product roadmaps.
* Deliver complex changes and enhancements with high quality.
* Ensure operations of key digital products run smoothly.
* Manage resources, budgets, governance, and risk.
* Influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders and external partners.
* Apply Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project approaches as appropriate.
* Track and elevate risks to support decision‑making.
Qualifications
* Experience delivering in digital or technical environments with line management experience.
* Strong background in managing resources, budgets, governance, and risk.
* Excellent influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
* Good knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and tools such as Jira.
* Experience supporting live systems, incidents, and change delivery.
* Track record working with third‑party suppliers.
* Delivery‑focused problem solver able to drive clarity.
