I’m working exclusively with a specialist IT consultancy that partners with mid‑sized and enterprise organisations across finance, professional services, and technology. They’re known for delivering secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure solutions, and are now looking to strengthen their team with a Network Engineer who can play a key role in client delivery. The Role This is a hands‑on position where you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network solutions across a variety of client environments. You’ll work closely with consultants, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure networks are secure, reliable, and future‑ready. Key Responsibilities * Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless solutions * Support client projects including migrations, upgrades, and new deployments * Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide escalation support * Implement and maintain network security best practices (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC) * Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams on hybrid solutions * Produce documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the consultancy Skills & Experience * Strong background in Cisco, Fortinet, or Palo Alto networking technologies * Proven experience with routing, switching, and firewall management * Solid understanding of network security principles and compliance standards * Exposure to cloud networking (Azure/AWS) highly desirable * Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work in client‑facing environments * Certifications such as CCNP, NSE, or PCNSE are advantageous but not essential If this role is of interest, please apply with your CV to Andy Dale at Arcas Technology
