Job Title: Food Production Operatives – Day Shifts (Temporary/Ongoing). Location: Ashington, West Sussex. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT. Salary: £12.36 per hour. Shifts: 4-on / 4-off rotation, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM). Start Date: Immediate start available.
We are recruiting Production Operatives to join our client based in Ashington on a Temp to Perm basis! The role is working 4-on-4-off for a Food Production Company.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Preparing and lining oven trays with care and accuracy
* Handling and transferring baking trays safely and efficiently
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic working environment always
* Cutting and finishing baked products to exacting standards
* Applying hand-finishing techniques to ensure product quality and presentation
* Labelling and dating items correctly for dispatch
* Packaging goods securely to meet delivery requirements
* Reporting any machinery faults or safety concerns promptly to supervisors
Working Pattern
* 4-on / 4-off shift rotation
* Day shifts only: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
* Ongoing temporary assignment with potential for long-term opportunities
What We’re Looking For
* Reliable transport is essential due to the location not being served by public transport
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently
* Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or factory settings is beneficial but not essential
