Who You Are As a Corporate Health and Safety Advisor, you are resilient, highly motivated, and well-organized, with the ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels. You hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and are a registered IOSH member. Your extensive knowledge of current and proposed health and safety legislation allows you to interpret and apply it effectively. What the Job Involves Reporting to the Corporate Health and Safety Manager, your role involves supporting the health and safety management system across council services and schools. You will be responsible for implementing health and safety policies and strategies, conducting audits, and developing performance indicators. Regular tasks include providing advice, guidance, and training on compliance, risk management, and safety practices, ensuring the Council remains compliant with health and safety legislation.
