This is a senior technical role supporting aircraft safety, certification and regulatory compliance across multiple platforms, with current work centred on Typhoon. You’ll contribute to both Initial and Continued Airworthiness, with greater emphasis on early-stage certification activity, and have the opportunity to lead a small team within a highly respected engineering environment.

Skills and experience required:

• Background working on civil or military aircraft programmes with strong understanding of aircraft systems and integration.

• Experience applying airworthiness and certification requirements within a regulated environment.

• Familiarity with relevant military or civil standards, and an ability to assess evidence packages for compliance.

• Knowledge of safety engineering principles such as hazard analysis and system safety assessments.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across engineering, safety and regulatory teams.

Desirable:

• Experience with UAV or UAS airworthiness.

• Exposure to safety analysis methods such as FTA, FHA and hazard management.

• Working understanding of MOD procurement and regulatory frameworks.
