For the successful Commercial Gas Engineer, our client is offering:
1. Basic of up to £40,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience)
2. 40 hours per week (Days)
3. Permanent Position
4. Company Vehicle (Personal Use), Fuel Card
5. Paid Travel Time (Door to door)
6. Opportunities for overtime at x1.5 and x2 rates
7. Call-out allowance of £100
8. 24 Days holiday + Bank Holidays
9. Pension – employer contribution of 5%
10. Death in service cover
The Role - Commercial Gas Engineer
11. Working in various commercial & industrial client sites
12. Mobile role covering the North West and North Wales area
13. Fault Finding, Service, maintenance & breakdown work on commercial & industrial heating and ventilation plant
14. Planned and reactive maintenance
15. Working on a variety of equipment including boilers, burners, radiant heaters, AHUs etc
16. Attending emergency call-outs
17. Some requirements for project/installation work
What our client is looking for in a Commercial Gas Engineer
18. Current and in-date ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, CDGA1 etc) ESSENTIAL
19. Full Driving Licence ESSENTIAL
20. knowledge of gas-fired burners and the controls thereof along with associated plant ESSENTIAL
21. Previous experience in a similar service & maintenance role ESSENTIAL
22. Proven fault finding & breakdown experience ESSENTIAL
23. City & Guilds F-Gas / City & Guilds 18th Edition BENEFICIAL
24. NVQ/City & Guilds in Plumbing BENEFICIAL
