CY Partners is working exclusively with a growing life sciences manufacturer operating in a highly regulated laboratory environment. This is an opportunity for someone looking to commence their career in a regulated laboratory production environment, with full training provided and clear development potential.
This role would suit a hands-on, detail-focused individual who values doing things properly, working to defined processes and contributing as part of a close-knit team.
The Role
You’ll be involved in a range of laboratory production and quality-related activities, supporting the manufacture and preparation of specialist biological products. Work is carried out in line with a robust Quality Management System and precision is critical.
Key responsibilities include:
Laboratory based production and manufacturing activities
Product labelling and preparation
Hands on laboratory preparation work requiring high levels of accuracy and consistency (training provided)
Incoming quality control of reagents and consumables
General laboratory duties including stock management and equipment checks
Accurate completion of documentation in line with ISO standard procedures
Collaboration with colleagues across production, quality and technical teams
All work is performed in accordance with ISO 13485 principles and internal health & safety policies.
About You
Degree qualified in a related scientific discipline or similar level experience working in a laboratory or production environment
High attention to detail and a right-first-time mindset
Comfortable following procedures and maintaining accurate records
Confident using basic IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office)
A positive, team-oriented attitude
Desirable (but not essential):
Experience working to ISO or GMP-style standards
Background in regulated manufacturing or laboratory production
Full training will be provided, so candidates with the right fundamentals and attitude are strongly encouraged to apply.
Working Pattern & Package
Permanent position (Monday–Friday)
Onsite working with flexible hours and core availability during the day
25 days holiday plus bank holidays (with a Christmas closure period)
