We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor with previous experience in a similar Customer Contact role, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who is able to act with diplomacy and tact.
As the Customer Service Advisor, you will join the organisation’s fantastic Customer Services Team with enthusiasm and confidence, helping to make a positive difference in how they deliver effective customer services to the local community.
Working as a Customer Service Advisor, you will help provide a front-line ‘one-stop shop’ to members of the public via telephone, visits, and email, with the overall purpose of resolving a large proportion of customer enquiries.
DUTIES
Your duties and responsibilities as a Customer Service Advisor will include:
* Act as the first point of contact for customers
* Take responsibility for resolving customer enquiries in a professional, efficient, and sensitive manner
* Record and maintain customer contact information accurately and in line with available technology
* Access and retrieve information from internal databases, back-end systems, and the internet as appropriate to resolve customer enquiries
* Be part of the weekly team rota to cover the front desk position
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Confident and adaptable with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Able to act with diplomacy and tact at all levels and be discreet with confidential information
* Able to handle challenging situations while remaining calm and professional
* Solution-focused, able to resolve queries and deliver positive outcomes for customers
* Experience in using ICT systems to retrieve information
* Ability to enter information quickly and accurately
* Experience with Microsoft Office applications
* Knowledge of the latest guidance regarding data protection and freedom of information
* GCSE grade A–C in English and Maths or equivalent
