The Role
* Support students with complex behavioural and emotional needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.
* Work closely with pupils with ASD, SEMH, and other additional needs.
* Provide high-quality classroom teaching during PPA cover using engaging, inclusive strategies.
* Implement effective behaviour support techniques and de-escalation strategies.
* Foster a safe, consistent and structured environment that promotes learning and emotional regulation.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to support pupil development.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
* Experience working with challenging behaviour, ASD, and complex needs
* An authoritative and confident presence in the classroom
* Ability to set clear boundaries while maintaining a positive rapport with pupils
* Experience delivering PPA cover is desirable
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
