About the Role
* Lead and expand sponsorship and delegate revenue streams, ensuring achievement of ambitious annual targets.
* Develop and implement a robust commercial strategy aligned with the event's overall objectives.
* Engage in high-level negotiations and manage key accounts to maximise client investment and retention.
* Provide leadership and direction to the commercial team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the global energy market to enhance event positioning and innovation.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
* Over 10 years of senior leadership experience in commercial, sales, or business development within large-scale exhibitions or B2B events.
* Proven track record of driving multimillion-dollar revenue growth.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in managing high-performing teams across international markets.
* Exceptional negotiation and strategic thinking abilities, with a solid background in developing long-term commercial strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with senior executives globally.
