A highly respected professional services firm is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager with strong commercial acumen and extensive experience in performance analytics and LinkedIn Paid Advertising. In this influential role, you will critically analyse and optimise digital marketing efforts to directly impact client acquisition, retention, and commercial success.
This position is pivotal, requiring expert-level management of paid media strategies, especially leveraging LinkedIn Ads, alongside SEO, CRO, and sophisticated analytics to drive measurable revenue growth and brand positioning. You'll play a strategic role, working closely with senior leadership to ensure marketing initiatives align seamlessly with broader business objectives.
Location: Guildford – Minimum 4 days per week on-site Salary: £100,000 to £120,000 per annum + benefits
Key Responsibilities:
* Commercial Analysis – Evaluate the commercial implications of marketing activities, providing detailed performance analysis to inform strategic decisions.
* LinkedIn Paid Media Expertise – Strategically manage and optimise paid campaigns, primarily on LinkedIn, maximising ROI and driving targeted lead generation.
* Performance Optimisation – Continuously monitor and improve digital marketing channels including paid search, social, display, and programmatic.
* Data Analytics & Attribution – Utilise advanced analytics and attribution modelling to refine campaign strategies, enhance targeting accuracy, and maximise commercial outcomes.
* SEO & Conversion Strategy – Drive high-quality inbound leads through strategic SEO, content marketing, and CRO.
* Strategic Partnerships – Oversee relationships with external agencies and vendors, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and performance KPIs.
* Experimentation & A/B Testing – Lead rigorous testing frameworks to enhance messaging, creative effectiveness, and audience targeting for continuous improvement.
* Marketing Technology Leadership – Oversee CRM and automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Microsoft Dynamics) to optimise lead management and engagement strategies.
* Team Development – Build and mentor a commercially astute marketing team positioned for long-term scalability and success.
Who They're Looking For:
* Proven leader in performance marketing with exceptional experience in commercial analysis and ROI-focused strategies.
* Minimum 8 years of experience in digital marketing, demand generation, or performance strategy within professional services or similar sectors.
* Expert-level proficiency in LinkedIn Ads and demonstrable success running commercially impactful campaigns.
* Strong experience with analytics tools including Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO platforms (e.g., SEMRush), and CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
