Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent - Full Time About the role: We are currently seeking a Lecturer in Travel and Tourism to join our Sport, Public Service and Travel department at The Bedford College Group. As a Lecturer, you play an important role in the success of our students through: Teaching & Learning Delivery - Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across a range of programmes and levels, using diverse media and up-to-date subject knowledge to meet individual student needs. Student Support & Progress - Guide students to achieve their potential through effective monitoring, feedback, and the integration of vocational opportunities like work experience and employer links. Curriculum & Quality Development - Contribute to curriculum innovation, course reviews, and quality assurance processes, ensuring learning environments are inclusive, safe, and aligned with awarding body standards. Administration & Collaboration - Complete course-related administration accurately and on time, participate in team meetings, and support recruitment through interviews and assessments. Promotion & Compliance - Represent the programme area at events, uphold safeguarding, equality, and health and safety standards, and engage in ongoing professional development. About you: Qualifications & Industry Experience - Degree in Travel and Tourism (or related subject), GCSEs in English and Maths, and recent experience in the travel industry and teaching across Levels 1-3.
