Recruitment Consultant for Accountancy & Finance (Transactional) at Iconic Resourcing

Location: Glasgow

Type: Full-Time | On-site | Competitive Salary | Annual Bonus

Be the Backbone of Our Business - Where Finance Meets Operations

We’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to join our clients busy team in Glasgow. This is a central role - part finance guru, part organisational powerhouse!

What You'll Be Doing:

Your mission? Keep the business running smoothly by owning the day-to-day finance and admin operations:

Everyday Wins

* Posting bank transactions, cash and cheques
* Managing the company diary for timekeeping & appointments

Weekly Rhythm

* Reconciling bank accounts & customer control accounts (Fridays are your finance power days)
* Petty cash management and reconciliation

Monthly Mastery

* Supplier payments, salary data collation
* Full account reconciliation across multiple platforms
* Month-end close for stock, sales, and purchases
* Insurance and Prosper Points tracking
* Credit limit reviews

Ad Hoc Tasks

* Handling finance queries and contracts (gas/electric, phones, insurance)
* IT support issues
* Credit checks and account setups for new customers
* Maintaining annual leave and HR records
* Coordinating stock takes and mail

What We're Looking For:

* Strong experience in bookkeeping or finance admin
* Eye for detail when reconciling accounts
* Organised, proactive and tech-savvy
* Comfortable managing multiple systems, processes, and priorities
* A problem-solver who can think on their feet and loves getting things DONE
