Senior Software Engineer II
As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality software and products that can be deployed frequently and safely into production. You will help shape the way we use and adopt technologies and practices, champion test automation, and work with autonomous cross‑functional teams to build solutions that satisfy millions of users.
Responsibilities
* Build and enhance features using TypeScript, React, Express, Node, Kubernetes, and GitLab.
* Partner with internal teams to solve complex challenges that have a real impact.
* Shape product direction by influencing sprint priorities and defining the “why” behind the “what.”
* Design and architect large‑scale systems with team members, architects, and principal engineers.
* Participate in engineering forums and help evolve best practices across the organization.
* Mentor and coach less experienced engineers through knowledge sharing, lunch & learns, or one‑to‑one sessions.
* Review code collaboratively, debate ideas, and celebrate engineering excellence.
* Explore emerging technologies, run experiments, and champion innovative ideas.
Qualifications
* Enjoy solving tough problems and thinking creatively.
* Passionate about quality; TDD is your approach, and you are familiar with Jest and React Testing Library.
* Craft clean, high‑quality code and debate the pros and cons of different approaches.
* Care deeply about application performance and user interaction.
* Excited by modern technology and proactive about improving team workflows.
