About the role
This is a corporate focused role with transactional, advisory and governance facets, reporting into the Deputy General Counsel in London. You will support on frequent company acquisitions, jurisdictional expansions, company secretarial matters and corporate compliance, working within a collaborative team. You will go into the City of London offices twice a week as part of a hybrid working set up, working closely with internal clients such as treasury, finance and leadership teams.
About you
You will be a corporate lawyer with strong M&A and governance experience, with qualification from E&W or another major common law jurisdiction. The employer is unable to offer visa sponsorship. The company is open to lawyers from private practice or in-house. You must be able to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and have a solutions-based approach to legal problem-solving. For guidance, the company is looking to speak to lawyers at c. 2-4 PQE, but is happy to speak to more senior lawyers also.
