Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Planner to support the supply of high-precision engineered products within a multi-disciplinary manufacturing team. You’ll manage production planning, material flow, and supplier quality to ensure on-time delivery and strong inventory performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Raise works orders and purchase requirements to drive material through the supply chain
* Own production schedules, forecasts, KPIs, and safety stock targets
* Coordinate priorities with operations and process ECOs, BOM changes, and new products
* Manage fast spares, RMAs, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Monitor supplier quality, resolve issues, and support audits
Key Skills
* Manufacturing planning experience using ERP / MRP systems
* Strong Excel and data analysis skills
* Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and quality control
* Organised, analytical, and a confident communicator
Experience
* Manufacturing planning or supply chain background
* Exposure to quality assurance and supplier management
* High-precision or engineered products experience preferred
Qualifications
• Level 4 or above qualification in Manufacturing Planning or equivalent, desirable
• Certification in Supply Chain Operations or Supplier Quality, desirable.
• Minimum of a BTEC, City & Guild or Apprenticeship at Level 3 in a Planning, Supply Chain or Manufacturing discipline, with relevant Planning experience.
