Role: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Southwark, London
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Full-time, Long-term (Until the end of the academic year)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or adolescents, preferably within an educational setting
A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting students with behavioural challenges
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviours and de-escalate conflicts
A valid and current DBS check registered on the update serviceResponsibilities:
Work closely with students to provide individualised support and intervention strategies to improve behaviour and engagement in learning
Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff members to develop and implement behaviour plans and strategies tailored to the needs of each student
Foster positive relationships with students, acting as a role model and mentor
Implement restorative approaches to resolve conflicts and promote a positive and inclusive school culture
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to relevant stakeholders as necessary
Support the overall well-being and personal development of students, promoting self-esteem and resilience
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to behaviour management and intervention strategiesWhy Join Us?
