We are exclusively working with a leading global logistics company who are looking to appointment a Sales Manager in the North East of England.

You will have a great suite of services at your disposal, working in a collaborative environment with Product Heads as well as Operational teams.
This role will focus on identifying, sourcing, developing and securing new business opportunities. You will have the opportunity to take full ownership of the growth strategy as well as recruitment, enabling you to shape the sales strategy in the North East, creating the culture, structure and team how you see fit.
Responsibilities
* Identifying and sourcing new leads
* Quoting and winning new business to achieve agreed annual targets
* Developing relationships with customers, on boarding, and working with Operations team to ensure successful service within agreed SOPs, meeting customers expectations
* Working collaboratively with Operational and Product teams
* Developing a team and creating a sales strategy
* Training and developing team members
About you
* Experience in a hunter sales role with a focus on New Business Development
* Experience with building pipelines and developing relationships with key stakeholders
* Strong commercial focus and business acumen
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
* Focused and goal-oriented
