About the Role:
EG Group have an exciting opportunity for a Treasury Consultant to join our Group Treasury team on an interim basis. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing the end-to-end management of bank guarantees, ensuring all documentation, reconciliations, and reporting are accurate and up to date across our regional operations. Working closely with internal stakeholders and partner banks, you’ll help maintain smooth processes and strong governance within the treasury function.
This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable taking ownership, identifying improvements, and someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment to make an immediate impact.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Managing the full lifecycle of bank guarantees, including issuance, amendments, cancellations, and reconciliations.
2. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in both spreadsheet and Treasury Management System (TMS) formats.
3. Liaising with participating banks and regional EG offices to ensure smooth coordination and compliance with internal processes.
4. Preparing regular and ad hoc reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to key stakeholders.
5. Taking ownership of the process, identifying improvements, and ensuring a smooth transition and handover to the permanent role holder.
6. Quickly adapting to existing systems, workflows, and priorities to provide effective short-term support to the Treasury team.

What we’re looking for:
7. Experience working within a treasury, finance, or banking environment, with a solid understanding of bank guarantee processes.
8. Strong Excel skills, with the ability to perform reconciliations and manage data accurately.
9. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, ensuring accuracy across all documentation and reporting.
10. Proactive and self-motivated, with the confidence to take initiative and manage responsibilities independently.
11. Adaptable and able to integrate quickly into a fast-paced environment, supporting a smooth transition to the permanent role holder.
