My client based in Ponteland is looking for an experienced Assembly Operative to join an expanding team on an ongoing basis with an immediate start available. This position could become a permanent one for a suitable candidate.

Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00
Friday: 08:30 – 14:00
Job Description
* Assemble cut‑out parts and components according to drawings, instructions, or work orders
* Inspect cut pieces for accuracy, defects, or damage before assembly
* Use hand tools, fixtures, or basic machinery to complete assembly tasks
* Ensure assembled products meet quality standards and specifications
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times
* Report faults, defects, or shortages to the supervisor
* Work collaboratively with team members and other departments as required
