Key Responsibilities
* Answer incoming phone calls from the general public in a professional and courteous manner
* Respond to emails confidently and professionally
* Assist in locating missing items from the warehouse
* Work collaboratively with colleagues as part of our close-knit team
* Handle customer complaints with empathy and efficiency
* Manage reception duties and represent Vectis as the face of the company
* Maintain accurate records and documentation
* Support general office administration including filing, data entry, and scheduling
* Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow
Person Specification
Essential:
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
* Friendly and approachable manner
* Team player with a positive attitude
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Desirable:
* Previous experience in a similar administrative or customer-facing role
