Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based inRochester, are looking to recruitProduction Operativesto work in theirFoundryto assist in the aluminium investment casting process.
As aFoundry Production Operativeyour main duties will include:
* Aluminium melt preparation prior to casting
* Cleaning and preparing moulds for casting
* Pouring molten metal into the moulds (casting)
* Moving moulds following casting
* Removing the ceramic shell from the finished cast
* Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders
The idealFoundry Production Operativewill have:
* High degree of physical fitness. This is a strenuous role with a high degree of manual handling.
* Experience in a Manufacturing/Factory/Production/Construction environment.
* A good work ethic, a good level of physical coordination and excellent time keeping skills.
* All PPE provided.
