Overview
You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team including psychiatry, nursing, OT, pharmacists, SALT and drama therapy. The ward staff and leadership team are committed to providing person centred, excellent care for people living with dementia and the candidate would be encouraged to work with the leadership team to work with the multi-disciplinary team to establish and deliver a therapeutic programme of care for patients with Dementia.
Responsibilities
* Work with the multi-disciplinary team to establish and deliver a therapeutic programme of care for patients with Dementia.
* Undertake a range of delegated clinical health duties in mental health settings.
* Record patients\' information.
* Assist the trained nurses in providing holistic care for patients with Dementia and their families/carers.
Qualifications
* Good general education
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience
* Experience of working with mental health needs in a paid or voluntary capacity
* Experience of working collaboratively i.e. with colleagues, wider teams, service users etc
* An understanding of confidentiality

Salary
Successful candidates are normally offered salaries at the bottom of the relevant salary range. However, where previous or equivalent NHS experience in a similar role can be demonstrated and evidenced, this may be taken into consideration when setting the starting salary.
