The Exciting Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join our student-focused team. We would particularly like to speak to candidates with experience of delivering on the Motor Vehicle qualifications.
The successful candidate will be primarily based at Accrington & Rossendale College but may be required to travel across sites.
What You Will Be Doing:
For candidates with relevant experience, have specific responsibility for developing the MotorVehicle curriculum and developing employer relationships to support industry placements.
Teach on other Motor Vehicle programmes as required (Entry level to Level 3)
Be up to date, plan and prepare high-quality teaching as required by your Line Manager
Develop and share resources for the subject including maintaining effective links across College for resources
Regularly assess students in order to track and monitor progress
What We Are Looking For:
4 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
Minimum level 3 qualification in a related subject
Recognised teaching and assessor qualification or a willingness to achieve this within three years of appointment
A higher degree or advanced qualification
Assessor and Verifier Qualifications
