As a result of multiple contract wins and significant fleet growth, we are expanding our driving team and are now recruiting experienced Class 1 Tramper Drivers on a Monday to Friday shift pattern.
About the Role
As a Class 1 Tramper, you will:
* Be willing to stay away from home for four nights per week, with an additional £100 paid weekly for tramping.
* Complete a range of nationwide deliveries and collections using curtain-side trailers, transporting palletised goods across multiple contracts.
* Ensure all goods are loaded correctly and securely restrained to prevent movement or damage, using straps, nets, and other suitable securing equipment.
* Carry out comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using a company-issued phone to maintain high standards of vehicle safety and reliability.
* Maintain regular communication with the transport team to provide progress updates and ensure customer expectations are consistently met.
* Participate in regular training sessions to remain up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices.
