Shifts available Monday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm

Salary:
Starting Salary is £24,413 - £25,185 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) (£12.65 per hour +12.05% holiday pay accrual per hour)

Woodthorpe Park Plant Shop, Woodthorpe Drive, Sherwood, Nottingham. NG54HA

About The Role
To be part of the Plant Shop team, offering a high quality of customer care by serving and advising customers in the shop and at events.

Principle duties

* To provide a front-line service by serving and advising customers in the shop.
* To maintain a constantly well-presented facility by ensuring the retail areas are clean and tidy.
* To operate a till, handle cash and take credit card payments in accordance with Nottingham City Council's financial regulations.
* To assist with basic administration tasks and completing daily records.
* To provide general information and convey a lively interest and knowledge of horticultural techniques and plants.
* To provide assistance and adhere to all health and safety, hygiene and security policies.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

* Ability to communicate with a wide range of people
* Knowledge of horticultural techniques and plants
* Experience of using tills and handling cash and card payments
* Willingness to work weekends
* Van driving experience is useful but not essential
