What is the role?
The purpose of the role is to provide assistance to the Architectural Team who coordinate design and maintain technical support to all regional departments and site-based teams to enable the region to achieve its objectives and agreed goals.
Primary Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of Land Appraisal Viabilities
* Work closely with the Architectural Team in the production of planning applications
* Interact closely with design and planning teams to deliver planning consents
* Address Building Regulation/CML issues
* Assist in producing all architectural drawings for start on site
* Help produce designs within agreed timescales to ensure regional targets are achieved
* Provide architectural support and technical guidance for regional site and office operations
* Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and Statutory Authorities
* Coordinate Legal Conveyance Plans
* Maintain documentation for the standard product portfolio
What experience do I need?
Ideally, you are undertaking or have undertaken a Construction Related Course such as BTEC Construction and the Built Environment or A Levels, with a keen interest in design.
* Computer literate with good knowledge of Excel and Word
* Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage
* Use own initiative
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Ability to work in a team and individually
* Ability to visualize problems and solve them
* Attend Day Release College/University to obtain a Construction-related HNC or Degree
* Commit to continuous professional development
* Achieve A-C grades in Mathematics, English, and Science
