The Depot Operations Supervisor reports to the Retail Sales & Operations Manager (RSOM) and is responsible for overseeing the depot and service across Customer Services, Delivery fleet and Cold store Warehouse.
This is a full‑time role of 40 hours per week, working any 5 of 6 days (Sundays closed). The hourly pay is £14.94.
Responsibilities
* Model passion and commitment to deliver outstanding service to our customers.
* Drive the consistent delivery of established processes and operational standards.
* Track the team’s performance against daily, weekly and monthly targets.
* Develop the operational performance of the depot and the skills of your team.
* Manage health & safety, stock, local delivery fleet and facilities maintenance.
* Participate in day‑to‑day tasks, including deliveries (a full UK driving licence is essential).
Essential Skills & Experience
* Experience in a supervisory role, leading and motivating a team to achieve shared objectives.
* Strong communication and influencing skills.

* Full UK driving licence.
You must have held a UK manual driving licence for at least 2 years. All offers of employment are subject to a Driving Assessment, Driving Licence checks and basic DBS checks.

* Previous experience leading a team within a retail, wholesale, customer service or operational/logistics environment.
* Some knowledge of commercial / P&L / budget management.
* Health & safety training.
* Food safety training.
