We're looking for a Safety, Health and Environmental Advisor (SHE Advisor) to join our Construction team based in London.
Location: London - Travel to sites across the City is required
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
What will you be responsible for?
As a SHE Advisor you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in providing specialist Health, Safety & Welfare advice for Construction Sites across London.
Your day to day will include:
* Carry out regular audits, inspections and visits to identify safe and unsafe on-site working conditions and practices. Report on findings of such inspections and make recommendations to remedy any defects found using Kier software systems.
* Carry out SHE tasks that are required to maintain Kier Group SHE policies and procedures as directed by the SHE Manager.
* Promote and fully participate in the implementation of the Kier Behavioural Safety Programme; Think Safety Differently.
* Advise on the practical implementation of CDM, Safe Systems of Work, Construction Phase Plans, Environmental Management Plans and Wellbeing strategies.
* Compile accident reports for reportable accidents and provide recommendations to prevent reoccurrence. Send reports to the SHE Manager and Project Director/Manager and ensure recommendations are actioned in a timely manner
