Responsibilities
This role will involve the day-to-day running of the Sport Building and providing the safe and efficient operation to all users. You will set up activity areas, work with our Reception and Sports Administration Officers, and provide basic maintenance and cleaning duties to support Cleaning & Maintenance staff from our Campus Support Teams. You will be part of the team responsible for the operations of the Sports Facilities, with specific responsibility for project work and a lead role in specific areas of interest as part of a developmental CPD outlook. You will be involved in activities that require empathy, people skills and a healthy lifestyle outlook. The role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience within a sport, exercise and fitness environment.
* Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer care and experience-led services.
* Up-to-date with developments in the field; relevant fitness industry qualifications and NGB coaching awards are desirable.
* The ability to relate well to students, colleagues, clubs and community users.
* Enthusiasm and motivational skills.
* Team player with a willingness to contribute to project work and CPD development.
