Job Purpose / Overview
As a SoW Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of Statement of Work (SoW) projects across multiple clients and sectors. This is a hands‑on delivery role, ensuring all project milestones, financial targets, and client expectations are met.
You will work closely with the Portfolio Manager, Account Teams, and client stakeholders to coordinate day‑to‑day delivery activity, track progress, manage risks, and maintain strong commercial control. The SoW Delivery Manager will play a key role in planning, mobilisation, governance, and operational oversight of all assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed scope and quality standards.
You will also support the development, review, and continuous improvement of delivery processes, documentation, and tools that underpin the SoW function.
Principal Accountabilities
* Manage the day‑to‑day delivery of multiple SoW projects, ensuring all milestones, deliverables, and financial targets are achieved.
* Support client stakeholders and Account Teams in planning and estimating SoW opportunities, including timelines, resource requirements, and cost models.
* Lead or support the onboarding and mobilisation of new SoW engagements, ensuring compliance with governance, contractual, and operational requirements.
* Track project progress, identifying risks early and implementing mitigation plans to maintain delivery performance.
* Attend and, where required, chair project meetings with clients, associates, consultancies, and internal teams in line with agreed governance standards.
* Build strong working relationships with client leads, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve delivery issues quickly and collaboratively.
* Monitor budgets, costs, and invoicing to ensure profitability, accuracy, and timely reporting.
* Create and issue Change Control Notices (CCNs), ensuring approvals, signatures, and system updates are completed promptly.
* Work closely with the Portfolio Manager to maintain consistent governance, documentation, and reporting across all projects.
* Ensure all projects comply with contractual obligations, governance frameworks, and risk controls.
* Support the preparation of monthly reporting packs, including financial performance, forecasting, risks, KPIs, and delivery status.
* Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, tools, and documentation to enhance efficiency and client experience.

Essential
* Experience in project or service delivery within recruitment, consultancy, or workforce solutions.
* Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
* Proven track record of managing project timelines, costs, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
* Commercially minded with strong cost awareness and financial reporting capability.
* Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and proactive in driving tasks to completion.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Analytical and curious, with the ability to identify issues early and drive effective solutions.
*Tech‑savvy and confident using delivery, reporting, and collaboration tools.
* Calm under pressure, adaptable to shifting priorities, and comfortable working at pace.
* A self‑starter who takes ownership and pride in delivery outcomes.
Desirable
* Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
* Relevant project management training or certification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, Scrum).
* Experience working with Statement of Work (SoW) frameworks or managed service environments.
* Experience contributing to continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
