Manpower UK is currently looking for a maintenance electrician for our of our trusted partnners.
Position Overview
you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems for issues on site. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
* Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
* Diagnoses electrical problems using specialized tools and equipment.
* Ensures all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
* Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
* Collaborates with contractors, engineers, and other construction professionals.
* Tests electrical systems and continuity of circuits in wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
* Maintains accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Provides guidance and training to apprentices or junior electricians as needed.
* Responds promptly to emergency electrical issues and provides timely solutions.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an electrician or in a similar role.
* Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship or equivalent training.
* Holds a valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations.
* Demonstrates strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and safety protocols.
* Proficient with electrical tools and equipment.
* Possesses excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Maintains good physical condition and can work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights.
