Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Senior Family Support Worker within the Reunification Team, based in Redbridge. The salary for this full-time role is up to £37,038 per annum.
Main duties:
* Work efficiently using effective communication skills to ensure the team delivers effective, efficient services.
* Hold an individual case load.
* Maintain high standards of childcare practice.
* Prepare and present reports for various audiences, including Case Conferences, Core Group Meetings, Court, and support staff to ensure work is completed to high standards within timescales.
* Participate in referral meetings, reviews, case discussions, core group meetings, case conferences, court, care plan meetings, and other relevant meetings. Organize, chair, and take minutes if required. Ensure service users understand the processes.
* Work in partnership with families, monitor their needs through accurate record keeping, care planning, and case recording, sharing information with service users where permissible.
* Demonstrate professional approach to sensitive issues with parents/carers, serving as a good role model.
* Stay updated and implement relevant legislation or procedures related to service delivery, sharing updates with staff.
* Collaborate with the Early Intervention & Family Support Team to ensure services meet Ofsted standards.
* Follow health and safety procedures within your responsibilities, including lone working protocols.
Requirements:
* A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
* Understanding of relevant legislation.
* Commitment to continual professional development.
* Registration with Social Work England.
