Job Opportunity: Health and Social Care Lecturer (0.6 FTE - NCFE Levels 1, 2 & 3)Location: Coventry Start Date: ASAP - Subject to Vetting Working Days: Monday, Thursday, and Friday (fixed - no flexibility)Contract Type: 0.6 FTE (Part-Time, Fixed-Term)We are looking for a committed and experienced Health and Social Care Lecturer to join our team on a part-time basis, working fixed days: Monday, Thursday, and Friday.The successful candidate will deliver NCFE-accredited Health and Social Care qualifications, focusing primarily on Level 3, with some delivery across Levels 1 and 2. As this position is being recruited toward the end of the academic year, it will also include marking of student assessments.Key Responsibilities:
* Teach NCFE Health and Social Care Levels 1, 2, and primarily Level 3, delivering high-quality and engaging sessions.
* Support learners academically and pastorally to help them achieve their qualifications.
* Carry out marking and assessment of final coursework and assignments in line with NCFE standards.
* Contribute to curriculum development and planning within the team.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and feedback.
Requirements:
* A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).
* Strong industry background in Health and Social Care.
* Proven experience teaching NCFE Level 3 or similar qualification frameworks.
* Thorough understanding of assessment and marking procedures.
* Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Must be available to work on Monday, Thursday, and Friday - no alternative working days can be offered.
