We are now looking for an experienced and motivated Parts Advisor to join our busy Honda Aftersales team in Bury St Edmunds, helping to ensure our workshop and customers receive the right parts at the right time. The Role As a Parts Advisor, you will be a key member of our aftersales operation, supporting technicians, service advisors and customers by ensuring the efficient supply of genuine parts and accessories. You will work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, organisation and customer service are essential. Key Responsibilities Customer Support Assist retail and trade customers in identifying and ordering the correct vehicle parts by email, telephone and messaging Provide knowledgeable advice on parts and accessories Deliver excellent customer service at all times Workshop Support Supply technicians with the correct parts quickly to support efficient servicing and repairs Liaise closely with the service team to minimise vehicle downtime Stock & Inventory Management Maintain accurate stock levels using internal systems Receive, check and store incoming parts deliveries Ensure parts are correctly labelled and stored and issued daily Supplier & Manufacturer Liaison Place parts orders with manufacturers and suppliers Track deliveries and resolve supply issues where required Department Organisation Maintain a clean, organised and professional parts department Ensure health, safety and housekeeping standards are maintained What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: ✔ Previous experience as an Automotive Parts Advisor (preferably within a franchised dealership) ✔ Strong IT and administration skills ✔ Excellent communication and customer service abilities ✔ High attention to detail and organisation ✔ Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment ✔ A positive, team-focused attitude Applicants should live within a commutable distance of Bury St Edmunds.
