ALF are proud to be working with a great company in the Stockport area, who are looking for an Immediate Accounts Assistant to join their team.
This role will be initially offered a temporary basis with a view of going permanent.
Monday – Friday fully office based 8am-4pm / 9am- 5pm with an hour lunch
Benefits:

The Role:
Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will have sole responsibility for the Purchase Leger Function, managing approximately 500 invoices per month.
* Processing High Volume Supplier Invoices
* Coding Invoices accurately
* Handling Supplier Queries
* Bank Reconciliations
* Processing Expense and Company Credit Card
* Excel-Based Reporting and Data Work
This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail an ability to manage workload efficiently.
What we are looking for:
* Must have strong experience in Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger
* Comfortable working in a sole position (full training and support from Management Accountant and wider finance team)
* Strong Excel
* Confident managing High Supplier queries
* High attention to detail
