As part of Coller's ongoing multi-product strategy, Coller are recruiting a proven Finance professional to help in establishing and operating openly-traded investment products, servicing private wealth channels and individual investors. This role will work under the leadership of Coller's Private Wealth Fund Controller, and closely with existing London & New York based Finance department, Front Office, Legal & Compliance, Tax and Investor Relations members of the Private Wealth Secondaries Solutions team. The candidate will be expected to foster strong relationships with various counterparties and service providers, both internally and externally, in order to deliver for our investors. The Manager will encounter a broad remit and this opportunity exposes you to a diverse range of areas in Finance and beyond to ensure there is positive challenges in the role that allow you maximise your strengths. Reporting to Coller's Private Wealth Fund Controller, you will have responsibilities to value the product's investments as well as other areas within portfolio monitoring. The products are established under the Investment Companies Act 1940 ("40 Act") and equivalent structures, such as UCI Part II SICAVs in Luxembourg. The role will involve working collaboratively across the organisation including but not limited to monitoring new deals, working with investor relations & working with external parties like valuation specialists and auditors. The role will include, but is not limited to: Responsibilities: Monitoring and confirming the accuracy of investment valuations provided by underlying investment managers. Working on Coller's valuation adjustments model, ensure the tradeable NAV is up to date for the aged Manager valuation Work with external providers, like valuation specialists & auditors, to ensure the accuracy of the valuations Responsible for preparing the Valuation Committee pack. Tracking progress of new deals and ensuring that any multi-currency funding, multi-region structuring, and reporting requirements are in line with our strategic objectives and are appropriately communicated to the Administrators, Treasury, Investment and Execution (legal) teams. Summarising the performance of the funds' portfolio in a quarterly review pack. Pack is presented to senior stakeholders within the firm. Ongoing governance of investment performance, working alongside the Investment Team and CIO Office. This entails probing information around funding requirements, exit assumptions and underlying performance improvement plans Collaborate with our Investor Relations team to deliver investment performance analysis for investors and aiding fundraising through the review of investment materials Working alongside our tax and execution teams to manage complex underlying structures, and the teams administering them in a wide range of jurisdictions.
