Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Steel Erectors Labourer to support a steel installation project in Fargate, Sheffield. The successful candidate will assist steel erectors on site, ensuring materials are handled efficiently and work areas remain safe and organised.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting steel erectors with installation works
* Manual handling and movement of steel components and materials
* Preparing and maintaining work areas
* Keeping the site clean, safe, and tidy
* Supporting lifting operations (under supervision)
* Following all site health and safety procedures
* Carrying out tasks as directed by site supervisors
Requirements
* Previous experience as a labourer on construction or steelwork sites (preferred)
* Valid CSCS card (essential)
* Awareness of health and safety regulations
* Physically fit and capable of manual work
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
* Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
