A lively and progressive secondary school in Weymouth is seeking an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join their dedicated and supportive PE department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an energetic ECT looking to build their career in a student-focused, forward-thinking environment.
The Role
As a PE Teacher, you will:• Deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4• Promote fitness, teamwork, resilience, and a positive approach to sport• Teach an inclusive curriculum that encourages participation from all students• Track and support student progress, helping pupils develop key physical and personal skills• Contribute to the planning and development of the PE curriculum• Lead or support extra-curricular sports clubs, fixtures, and enrichment activities

Ideal Candidate Profile
You will be:• A qualified PE Teacher with QTS (or an ECT close to completion)• Confident teaching PE across KS3 and KS4• An excellent communicator with strong subject knowledge• A positive role model who inspires students to achieve their best• A team player who values collaboration and high expectations• Able to build strong relationships and motivate learners of all abilities
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)• Strong subject knowledge within Physical Education• Ability to teach PE confidently at KS3 & KS4• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
