We are seeking Senior Project Managers with experience in the Energy sector to join us in offices across the UK. Projects span energy from waste, solar, interconnectors, wind farms, substations, OHL, energy building design, protection systems, LVAC, pump stations, and more. This role supports our growing team delivering innovative and sustainable projects to address industry-wide efficiency and environmental challenges and to contribute to the UK energy transition.
You will work with multi-disciplinary teams and a variety of clients to deliver complex projects throughout the project lifecycle, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, and to a high level of quality. You will proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage project budgets and resources, and lead project teams with clear communication and collaboration.
As a Project or Senior Project Manager, you will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle—from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage projects through the full lifecycle, from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout.
* Work with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time, to budget, and to high quality standards.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
* Manage project budgets and resources; coordinate with Project Managers on proposals, change orders, status reports, financial updates and forecasting.
* Prepare and maintain project documentation and reporting; ensure compliance with NEC contracts and internal processes.
* Foster collaboration, clear communication, and high-performance team leadership.
Qualifications
* Degree in a relevant field; APMP qualifications would be an advantage.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
* Experience in project management within the energy/engineering consultancy sector; familiarity with NEC contracts is essential.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, multi-team environment.
* Attention to detail, initiative in problem detection and resolution, and ability to prioritize across multiple projects.
