Geography Teacher - Secondary School (Rotherham) Long-term Supply | Start After Half Term | PAYE
PK Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Rotherham to recruit a Geography Teacher for a long-term supply position, starting after the upcoming half term.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and committed Geography specialist looking for a stable, long-term role within a supportive school environment.
The role will be paid PAYE, giving you peace of mind and transparency around your pay.
The Role
* Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
* Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Assessing, tracking and reporting on student progress
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
* Contributing to departmental planning and wider school life where appropriate
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and differentiated Geography lessons
* Inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment
* Follow school policies on safeguarding, behaviour and assessment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Specialism in Geography or a related subject
* Recent experience teaching in a UK secondary school
* Strong classroom management skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
