Production Operative - Multi‑Shot Department
Location: Bridgend
Contract Type: Temporary (with potential to become permanent)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week (Day shifts)
Flexible hours : 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm
Pay Rate: £12.58 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
We are currently looking to recruit an Operative to join our Multi‑Shot Department due to a backlog of customer orders, increased forecasted demand.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is reliable, hands‑on, and detail‑focused to support a busy production environment. While the initial focus will be on manual assembly tasks, there is potential for longer‑term development for the right candidate, depending on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
The primary focus of this role will be supporting the Multi‑Shot team with manual assembly tasks, including:
Manual assembly of packaging boxes and inserts
Capping reagent vials
Labelling reagent vials
Inspection and assembly of final customer kits
General support across the department as required
Future Development (Training Provided)
For candidates who demonstrate strong performance and interest, there may be opportunities over time to train in additional areas such as:
Dispensing of reagents
Formulation processes
Fermentation of reagents and enzymes within laboratory environments(Please note: these tasks are not part of the initial role and would be subject to training and suitability.)
About You
Comfortable with manual, repetitive assembly work
Good attention to detail and quality‑focused
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a small team
Willing to support different tasks within the department What We Offer
