Job Responsibilities
1. Responsible for carrying out regular maintenance service visits to lifts and equipment within allocated area.
2. Build excellent customer relationships with all clients on their route, especially for clients with "Warranty" lifts to secure ongoing service contracts.
3. Provide Head Office with client ownership information when available.
4. Plan daily/weekly/monthly work schedules and routes efficiently to minimize travel and non-productive time.
5. Report to the customer or their representative upon arrival to assess the lift(s) status.
6. Perform routine service according to planned maintenance schedules, adhering to safety, performance, and quality standards.
7. Complete service reports and obtain client signatures upon job completion.
8. Conduct initial Risk Assessments on new lifts and review/update on subsequent visits, addressing hazards and posting warnings as needed.
Account Management
1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing relevant service information and updates.
2. Maintain existing service contracts and secure new ones for warranty lifts, repairs, or modernization projects.
3. Update Head Office with client ownership information when applicable.
Administration and Reporting
1. Submit accurate weekly job sheets, service reports, and timesheets following company procedures.
2. Provide Head Office with client ownership details when available and appropriate.
Health, Safety, and Environment
1. Comply with all HSE regulations, guidelines, and company procedures.
2. Use and maintain PPE appropriately and keep it in good condition.
Company Van and Tools
1. Maintain the company van in a clean and roadworthy condition.
2. Ensure all tools, instruments, and materials are stored securely and report damages immediately.
3. Manage inventory and submit requisitions timely to prevent shortages.
Additional Skills
* Lift Maintenance: Capable of performing basic service and maintenance on most lift types.
* Customer Focus: Ability to build effective relationships and exceed customer expectations.
* Health, Safety, and Environment: Understands and proactively implements safety procedures.
